With foreign attachments, there’s no way to tell what’s in that metal. For example, it’s widely known in the industry that a lot of American scrap steel is purchased on the cheap overseas for raw materials. That scrap gets melted down and reforged into recycled, lower quality components from a worse base material. When you buy attachments made from foreign components, they could easily (or even likely) be made from recycled scrap or low-carbon filler garbage. Could be anything.
