Overlap Enough to Leave a Uniform Seedbed

Make sure every pass overlaps the previous one by several inches. If you miss that overlap, you might see narrow strips of hard ground left behind between passes. However, if you overlap too much, you're spending time reworking soil that's already finished. Seriously, a couple inches is just right.
